7.30pm: EGM
8.00pm: Opening of Congress: Adoption of Standing Orders

9.00pm: Socialising.

Saturday March 24th.

9.00 am: Registration
10.30 am: Official Opening of Congress
10.45 am: Presidents Address.
11.00 am: Prof. Mona O’ Moore, Anti-bullying Centre, TCD
12.00 pm: CEO’s Address to Congress

12.45 pm: LUNCH

2.15pm: Dr.Garrett Fitzgerald, Chancellor of The University’s of Ireland

EGM Proposal

Proposed ammendment to the constitution Presently Reading as follows:

page 14:paragraph 3: Subsection d

a) Membership of the association shall be open to all the parents of the students who are registered at Vocational Schools/ Education Centres.

b) Parents representatives, elected by parents descrbed in 3(a) and nominated by the association, sitting on Vocational Education Committees.

c) Full membership of the association shall cease at AGM of education centre, or county parents association if (a) or (b) is no longer applicable.

d) Where (a) or (b) no longer applies to an officer of the association, he/she may continue in office up to the conclusion of the following national congress.

To be ammended to :

page 14:paragraph 3: Subsection d
